With the advent of private broadcasting sector in the 1990s, the need for a comprehensive inspection in private broadcasting and law regarding private broadcasting have arisen. Because there was a legal gap concerning private broadcasting and the public was reactive towards those private channels which have done inappropriate radio and television broadcasts, the government has decided to make regulations related to this issue. Subsequently, RTÜK which is an autonomous and independent institution was established with the law no.3984. After the establishment of RTÜK, the institution has drawn reaction both from parliament and the public regarding its conception of inspection, organization, and the sanctions that they have imposed.44 pagesTurkishCreative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlikeYayıncılıkDenetimTarafsızlıkKamuoyuMeclisBroadcastingİnspectionİmpartialityPublicParliamentKuruluşundan günümüze Radyo Ve Televizyon Üst KuruluStudent ProjectSPB3407
