It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 21-23).Ankara Üniversitesi Eğitim Bilimleri Fakültesi, 1964'te kurularak Türkiye'nin eğitim alanındaki ihtiyaçlarına bilimsel yaklaşımlar ve yenilikçi metotlarla yanıt vermiştir. Fakülte, eğitim bilimleri alanında öncü olup, akademik ve toplumsal etkiler bırakmıştır. Kuruluşundan itibaren eğitim uzmanlığı üzerine odaklanarak nitelikli eğitimciler yetiştirmiş, ilk oyuncak müzesi gibi kültürel projelerle eğitime katkıda bulunmuştur. YÖK’ün değişen politikalarına rağmen, fakülte bilimsel değerlerini korumaya çalışarak eğitim bilimlerindeki liderliğini sürdürmüştür. Bu çalışmalar, üniversitenin ve fakültenin toplumdaki önemli rolünü pekiştirmiştir.Ankara University Faculty of Educational Sciences was established in 1964, responding to Turkey's educational needs with scientific approaches and innovative methods. The faculty has been a pioneer in the field of educational sciences, leaving significant academic and social impacts. From its inception, it has focused on training qualified educators and educational specialists, contributing to education with cultural projects like the first toy museum. Despite changing policies from the Higher Education Council (YÖK), the faculty has endeavored to preserve its scientific values, maintaining its leadership in educational sciences.
