It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Türkiye’de 1970 yılında kullanılmaya başlanan müzik dinleme aracı kaset, 2000’li yıllardan sonra popülerliğini kaybetmesi ile koleksiyonculuğunun değeri artmaya başlamıştır. Türkiye’de kaset koleksiyonculuğu denince ilk akla gelen yerlerden biri de Ankara’da yer alan İtfaiye Meydanıdır. Bu çalışma 1970’den günümüze plak ve kaset koleksiyonculuğunun ortaya çıkışı gelişimi ve günümüzdeki yerini, kaset koleksiyonculuğu için en önemli yerlerden biri olan İtfaiye Meydanı’nın da tarihini ve oradaki değerli kaset koleksiyoncuları olan Mehmet Koçoğlu ve Kırşehirli Harun Han’ın perspektifini de ele alarak anlatmaktadır.Cassette was introduced in Turkey in 1970, after the 2000s, as they became less prevalent collecting them started to be valuable. When it is mentioned about cassette collecting in Turkey, İtfaiye Meydanı is one of the places which comes to mind first, which is in Ankara.
