It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 20-21).1907’den beri faaliyette bulunan Koska Helva günümüzde helvacılık zanaatının en önemli isimlerinden birisidir. Dindar ailesinin kurucusu olduğu Koska Helva’nın tarihi Denizli’de başlamıştır. Sonrasında Koska Semti’nde faaliyetine devam eden Koska Helva, bu semt ile özdeşleşecek kadar ünlenmiştir. Helva yapımı konusunda usta olan Dindar ailesi bu özelliğini nesiller boyu devam ettirmiştir. Kıtlık Dönemi’nde yaşadığı zorluklar olmasına rağmen bu zorlukları yaratıcı çözümlerle atlatmıştır. Günümüzde yönetim kurulu başkanı Nevzat Dindar Koska Helva’nın şirketleşmesinde önemli rol oynamıştır. Koska Helva karşılaştığı engellere ve değişen zaman şartlarına rağmen büyümeye devam etmiş ve helva yapımına büyük yenilikler getirmiştir. Kurumsallaşmasıyla beraber hem ülke içinde hem de ülke dışında ürünlerini tüketicilerin beğenisine sunmaktadır.Koska Halva is one of the most important names on halva making craft since 1907. Koska Halva started production in Denizli with its founders, Dindar family. After that, it continued its service in the Koska district which is identified with Koska Halva. Dindar family were mastered Halva making for generations. Koska Halva got over the difficulties it experienced due to the period of shortage with innovative solutions. Nowadays Nevzat Dindar is in the position of a board chairman and he played an important role on incorporation of Koska. Even though Koska Halva encountered many obstacles, it continued to grow in accordance of the expectations of the contemporary world and it brought many innovative ideas to the halva making.
