Due to the Greek- Turkish wars that lasted for years, many people had to leave their own country. This problem was solved by the exchange clause of the Treaty of Lausanne. Muslims in Greece were subjected to forced migration to Turkish lands and Greeks in Turkey to Greek lands. This process has been a persecution for some families and an opportunity for others. In this research, the Engin Family, one of the families that migrated from Thessaloniki to Foça, was discussed. In line with the information received privately from the family members, their lives in Thessaloniki before the exchange, the impact of immigration on their lives and their lives after settling in Foça were described. At the same time, the book Turnalar ve Göç Yolcuları prepared by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Engin, a member of the Engin Family, played an important role in the research. The experiences of the Engin Family are of great importance in order to understand the difficulties experienced by the immigrants and the adaptation process of immigrants to their new homelands. In addition, the effects of exchange on the economic and social structure were examined through the family, which is the building block of society.22 pages : photographs.TurkishCreative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlikehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/MübadeleGöçmenlerSelanikFoçaTürk-Yunan tarihiExchangeMigrantsThessalonikiTurkish- Greek historySelanik göçünde Foça’nın yeri: Engin AilesiStudent ProjectSPB4462
