It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 17-18).Bu makalede 1989'daki büyük Bulgaristan Göçü'nde Türkiye'ye göçüp Ayyıldız Mahallesi'ne yerleşen Bülent Köksal, Meryem Seferoğlu ve Sabri İskenderin gözünden göçte yaşanan olayları incelenecektir. Öncelikle göç öncesi Bulgaristan'ın asimilasyon politikalarını ve bu politikaların araştırılan kişileri nasıl etkilediğini incelenecektir. Daha sonra araştırdığımız göçmenlerin göç yolunda yaşadığı zorlukları ve göçün Türk basınındaki yansımaları işlenecektir. En son kısımda da makalede göçmenlerin Türkiye'ye alışma sürecinde yaşadığı zorluklara yer verilecektir. Her bir kişi üzerinde bireysel olarak incelenen göç hikayeleri ile göçün bireysel yönüne dikkat çekilecektir.In this article, the migration from Bulgaria to Turkey which occurred in 1989 will be examined under the favour of Bülent Köksal, Meryem Seferoğlu, and Sabri İskender who were immigrant in this occurrence. Firstly, Bulgaria's assimilation policies and how these policies affected the people researched will be examined. Afterward, the challenges which the people researched went through on the migration path and the backwash of the occurrence in the Turkish press will be examined. Lastly, this article will include the challenges which the people researched went through while they were getting used to living in Turkey.
