Plane-wave scattering problems were simulated. The improvements in both plane-wave and finite-source excitation schemes were demonstrated. The result showed that a visible DC offset value was exhibited even after five periods of the incident wave.EnglishComputer simulationElectromagnetic wave scatteringError analysisFinite difference methodSamplingSignal processingTime domain analysisPlane-wave scatteringElectromagnetic wavesApplication of signal-processing techniques to reduce the errors related to the FDTD excitationsConference Paper10.1109/APS.2001.959421
