It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 15-16)SEKA Taşucu Fabrikası, Türkiye'nin kağıt üretimindeki dışa bağımlılığını azaltma misyonu doğrultusunda Taşucu Limanı'nda konumlanmış önemli bir tesistir. Fabrika, SEKA'nın yıllar içinde kurduğu bir dizi fabrikadan sadece biridir. SEKA Taşucu Fabrikası, bir dönem kağıt üretimine ara vermiştir. Bir süre sonra tekrardan seri kağıt üretimine başlayan fabrikanın özelleştirilmesi kararlaştırılmıştır. Özelleştirilmesinden kısa bir süre sonra ise fabrikanın kalıcı olarak kapatılmasına karar verilmiştir. Fabrikanın seri kağıt üretimi yaptığı zaman aralıklarında çalıştırdığı yüzlerce personeli ile ülkenin kağıt endüstrisine ve bölge ekonomisine büyük faydaları dokunmuştur.SEKA Taşucu Factory is an important facility located in Taşucu Port in line with the mission of reducing Turkey's foreign dependency in paper production. The factory is just one of a number of factories that SEKA has established over the years. The SEKA Taşucu Factory suspended paper production for a period. After a while, it was decided to privatize the factory, which started mass paper production again. Shortly after its privatization, it was decided to close the factory permanently.
