It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 10).Emek İşhanı is a familiar building standing in the heart of Kızılay, Ankara that existed in a large portion of the modern history of Turkey. As seemingly important as it is, many of the recent generation are not very well informed about Emek İşhanı. To provide information about the history of Emek İşhanı, we've conducted research on many aspects about the building from its practical and political function to the significant events that are associated with the building.Emek İşhanı başkent Ankara'nın merkezi olan Kızılay da modernitenin göstergesi olarak inşaa edilmiştir. Yeni nesil emek işhanı ve geçmişi ile ilgili pek fazla bilgiye sahip değil.
