It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 15-16).1946 yılında doğan, Türk sinema ve tiyatro tarihinde önemli bir yeri olan değerli oyuncu Selma Sonat, 40 yılı aşkın süre boyunca çeşitli tiyatro sahnelerinde, dizilerde ve sinema filmlerinde yer almıştır. Selma Sonat, İstanbul Şehir Tiyatrosu'nda çocuk oyununda rol alarak oyunculuğa başlamıştır. 12 yaşından beri tiyatro sahnelerinde olan sanatçı, devlet tiyatrolarının yanı sıra Oraloğlu Tiyatrosu, Gönül Ülkü Gazanfer Özcan Tiyatrosu gibi özel tiyatrolarda da rol almıştır. Metin Akpınar ve Zeki Alasya ile birlikte döneminin en önemli tiyatrolarından biri olan Devekuşu Kabare’de 9 yıl boyunca sahneye çıkmıştır. Dizi sektöründe ise Çılgın Bediş dizisindeki rolü ile akıllara kazınmıştır. Selma Sonat sanatın sadece bir dalında değil bale, tiyatro, resim ve seramik gibi çeşitli alanlarında da faaliyet göstermektedir. Günümüzde sahnelerden uzak kalan Selma Sonat Kalimerhaba Derneği ile sanata katkı sunmaktadır. Bu dernekle her yaş grubuna tiyatro eğitimi vermekte ve imkânlar sağlamaktadır. Ayrıca Marmaris halkını kültür ve sanat alanında etkinliklerle buluşturarak faaliyetlerine devam etmektedir.Selma Sonat, who was born in 1946 and has an important place in the history of Turkish cinema and theater, took part in various theater stages, TV series and movies for more than 40 years. Selma Sonat started acting in a children's play at the Istanbul City Theatre. The actress, who has been on theater stages since the age of 12, has also acted in private theaters such as the Oraloğlu Theater, Gönül Ülkü - Gazanfer Özcan Theater as well as state theaters. Together with Metin Akpınar and Zeki Alasya, she took the stage for 9 years in Devekuşu Cabaret, one of the most important theaters of her time.
