It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 26).Süleyman Demirel, Türk siyasi tarihinde büyük önemi olan bir devlet adamıdır. Demirel, Türkiye’ye birçok hizmette bulunmuş, akıllarda kalıcı bir izlenim bırakmıştır. Bu çalışmada, bir siyasetçi olan Demirel’in, siyasete girmeden önceki dönemi, siyasete girişi, siyasi hayatı ve son olarak cumhurbaşkanlığı dönemi anlatılmıştır. Bu anlatıma başvurulurken uzun yıllar Demirel’in fotoğrafçılığını yapmış olan Mustafa Öztartan’ın perspektifinden Süleyman Demirel yansıtılmıştır. Çalışma ile Süleyman Demirel’in siyasi ve sosyal hayatının incelenmesi amaçlanmış olup siyasi ve sosyal kimliği arkadaşlarının ve fotoğrafçısının perspektifinden aktarılmıştır. Demirel’in başardığı işler ve bu süreçte yaşadığı zorluklar anlatılırken kendine has üslubuyla sergilediği tutumlara da yer verilmiştir.Süleyman Demirel is a statesman who has a great importance in Turkish political history. Demirel has provided many services to Turkey and has left a lasting impression on minds. In this article, Süleyman Demirel, a politician, Demirel before politics, Süleyman Demirel's entry into politics and Süleyman Demirel's presidential periods are described. Süleyman Demirel was described from the perspective of Mustafa Öztartan, who had been photographing Demirel for many years. This article aims to examine the political and social life of Süleyman Demirel and his political identity and social identity are revealed from the 1 perspective of his friends and photographer. The work he has achieved and the difficulties he has experienced have been expressed.
