It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 15).Tarih dersi kapsamındaki bu araştırma ödevi, büyük ölçüde Türkiye’deki çizgi romancılık ve Devr-i Alem Sahafı’nın tarihine odaklanmaktadır. Türkiye’deki bazı çizgi roman türlerine olan ilginin azalması, bazı serilerin yok olması bu araştırma için önemli bir çıkış noktası olmuştur ve bunlar değinilen noktalardandır. özellikle Ankara’da oldukça az çizgi roman satan işletme bulunduğundan, bunlar arasında en kapsamlı ve en köklülerden biri olan Devr-i Alem Sahafı’nın geçmişten günümüze tarihi araştırılmıştır. Röportajlar sayesinde Türkiye’de çizgi roman tarihi hakkında bilgi alınmış, ve çeşitli kaynaklardaki bilgilerle genişletilmiştir. Dünya’da ortaya çıkmasından bir hayli sonra olsa da, çizgi romanın Türkiye’ye ilk gelişinden günümüze kadar geçen sürede, ismi oldukça duyulmuş ve bir ün elde etmiş serilerin çıkış noktaları araştırılmıştır. çeşitli çizerler, yayınlar ve serilerin zaman içindeki değişimi gözlemlenmiştir. Gerek yabancı gerekse yerli seriler, bu araştırmada Türkiye’deki gelişmeleri incelenen eserlerdir.This history course research, mostly focuses on the comic book industry in Turkey and the history of the Devr-i Alem bookstore. The key point of this research was the increase in buyers and extincting publishers. These are some of the important point that are mentioned in this research. Since there are not much bookstores that sell comic books in Ankara, one of the most extensive and rooted bookstore’s history from past to now has been researched, which is Devr-i Alem bookstore. The information about the history of comic books in Turkey was collected through interviews and they were merged with the information that has been collected from several other resources. The series that gained fame throughout the history of comic books in Turkey were researched; even though comic book culture has come to Turkey many years later than other countries. The change in drawers, series and publishers over time has been observed in this research.
