It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Orman suçlarıyla mücadele amacıyla oluşturulan kurumlar, kanunlar ve yönetmelikler üzerinde durulmuştur. Özellikle, orman mühendisliği ve orman muhafaza memurluğu gibi mesleklerin oluşturulması ve bu alandaki uzmanların rolü vurgulanmıştır. Azmi Yusuf Taşkın gibi uzmanlar, Türkiye'deki orman suçlarına karşı mücadelede önemli bir kaynak olmuştur. Bu nedenle çalışmada Azmi Yusuf Taşkın’ın tecrübelerinden ve anılarından süreci yansıtmak açısından faydalanılmıştır. Bu çalışma, Türkiye'deki orman yönetimi ve suçlarıyla ilgili mevcut durumu özetlemeyi ve ilgili sonuçları değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır.In this study, the definition of forests and the history of forestry are provided, along with an examination of institutional regulations and legal processes concerning the use and preservation of forests in the Republic of Turkey. Institutions, laws, and regulations established to combat forest crimes are discussed, with particular emphasis on professions such as forestry engineering and forest conservation officers. The role of experts in this field, like Azmi Yusuf Taşkın, as valuable resources in the fight against forest crimes in Turkey, is highlighted. Therefore, Taşkın's experiences and memories are utilized to reflect the process.
