It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 14-15).Bu makalede sanatçı Mehmet Sabır’ın hayatını ve sanatını inceledik. Mehmet Sabır’ın, genel olarak hayatını anlatırken, çocukluk dönemindeki ve sonraki dönemlerindeki yaşantısını sanatı ile ilişkilendirdik. Bunun yanında Mehmet Sabır’ı yaşantısı boyunca etkilemiş olan Türkiye’deki sosyal, politik ve sanatsal konulara da kısa bir şekilde değindik. Mehmet Sabır’ın ressam kişiliği dolayısı ile makalemizde temel olarak sanatçı kişiliğini ve sanatını ele aldık.In this project, the life of Mehmet Sabır and the artist's art are examined. While composing the paper, we associated his life with his art. Besides we also mentioned the social, political and artistic subjects which have affected Mehmet Sabır throughout his life.
