It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Bu çalışmada, Kırşehir’deki kaplıcaların tarihi gelişimi, kültürel özellikleriyle birlikte ele alınmıştır. Araştırmada, halkın kaplıcalara dair kültürel belleği ve Prof. Fritz Baade’nin Kırşehir termal su kaynaklarının kaplıcalaştırılma sürecine katkıları da ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca kaplıcalardaki suyun yapısı, sıcaklığı ve tedavi edici yönleri açısından incelenmiş, bu tesislerin sağlık turizmine katkıları ve altyapıları açıklanmıştır.Kırşehir is renowned for its hot springs and remains a key spa center in Anatolia. This paper examines the development of Kırşehir’s hot springs from the past to present, along with their cultural aspects. The legends about the hot springs, passed down through generations, reflect the belief in the healing properties of these waters and reveal the deep-rooted spa tradition in the region.
