Overall, 12 intervention studies were identified that had examined school programs on SEL-related topics. These topics included values development, conflict resolution, anger management, self- esteem enhancement, peer mediation, and several classroom-based interventions within subject area teaching. Findings suggest gaps in the publication of high quality research on intervention programs for supporting social and emotional learning in secondary schools of Turkey, along with inattention to how such programs influence academic achievement.EnglishSocial emotional learningsSecondary educationSystematic literature reviewTurkeySocial and emotional learning research: intervention studies for supporting adolescents in TurkeyConference Paper10.1016/j.sbspro.2012.12.0871877-0428
