It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 14-15).Bu makale Ankara Döşemeciler Esnaf ve Sanatkârlar Odası’nın kuruluşunu, günümüzdeki faaliyetlerini, kuruluş aşamasında ilkelerini özümsediği Ahilik ve Gedik teşkilatının Oda’nın kuruluşu üzerindeki etkilerini anlamayı amaçlamaktadır. 10 Ağustos 1950 yılında Hüsnü Diker başkanlığında kurulan bu oda, mobilya döşemecileri mensuplarının sorunlarına çözüm getirmeyi, sosyal dayanışmayı sağlamayı ve aynı zamanda döşemecilik zanaatındaki gelişmeler hakkında esnafı bilgilendirmeyi esas edinmiştir.This paper is written for elaborately evaluating the establishing of Ankara Döşemeciler Esnaf ve Sanatkarlar Odası, its current activities, the correlation between the guild and Ahilik and Gedik traditions which are assimilated by the guild.
