It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Bu makalede, organizatör Ahmet San ve organize ettiği sekiz konser -Guns N’ Roses, Elton John, Metallica, Sting, Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Michael Jackson, Madonna- hakkında bilgilendirme yapılacaktır. Bununla beraber; konserlerin, polemik bir siyasi dönemden geçen Türkiye’de medyaya yaptığı etki araştırılacaktır.It was not common that famous singers worldwide to perform concerts in Turkey in 1993. A concert craze, which satisfied the hunger of Turkish music lovers, had started with Guns N’ Roses concert under Ahmet San’s organization on 26th May in 1993. In this essay, information about eight concerts and their organizer Ahmet San will be provided.
