It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Kızlarağası Hanı, açılış tarihinden itibaren şehrin en işlek noktalarından biri olmuştur, bunun sonucunda da İzmir'in kültürel kimliğinin ötesinde tarihi bir yapı haline gelmiştir. Bu araştırma; Kızlarağası Hanı’nın kuruluşundan günümüze kadar olan tarihi sürecine, kültürel, ekonomik ve sosyal değişimlerine ışık tutmayı amaçlamaktadır.The Kızlarağası Inn, located in İzmir, has been a significant hub for economic, social, and cultural activities in the city since the 18th century. After the restoration it went under between 1988 and 1993, the inn has transformed into a more tourist-oriented market. Since its reopening, the Kızlarağası Inn has emerged as one of İzmir's most vibrant locales, evolving into a historical landmark that transcends the city's cultural identity.
