It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 19).Türk sanat tarihinin sonradan gelişmeye başlayan ve günümüzde hakiki bir sanat haline gelmiş olan makyajın Türk sinemasındaki gelişimi incelenmiştir. Türk sanat tarihine bakıldığında geri planda kalmaması gereken ve izleyici tarafından kostüm, oyuncular, konular kadar bilinmeyen makyaj olgusunun, elli yıl içerisindeki gelişimi ele alınmıştır. Bireylerin sanatlarını ifade etmelerinde kullanılan en etkileyici yöntemlerden birinin makyaj olması, makyajın kendi içinde, dünya genelinde ve Türkiye içerisinde de gelişmesine olanak kılmıştır. Dünya genelinde yaşanan uluslararası olaylara, popüler olan konulara ve yeniliklere ayak uydurmayı başaran makyaj, ülkeler adına detaylı incelendiğinde gelişiminde farklılıklar göstermiştir. Türkiye konu başlığı altında yorum yapılırsa, dünyanın etkisi altında kalınmıştır ancak Türk kültürü de makyaja etkisini sunmuştur. 1960’ların başından başlayarak ele alınan Türk sinema tarihinde makyajın değişimi ve gelişimi konusu 2000’li yıllar ve günümüz çerçevesinde sunulmuştur. Bu yıl aralığında ten, göz, dudak makyajının değişimi, sinemalarda seyirciyi etkilemek için takma uzuv, saç farklılıkları kullanılmaya başlanmış ve ayrıca plastik makyaja geçiş ön plana çıkmıştır. Bu çalışmada makyör sanatçısı Macit Kavuncu ve Başak Kavuncu ile görüşülmüş ve konu hakkında röportaj yapılmıştır.This study includes the development of makeup in Turkish history which had a late progress compared to the history of Turkish arts, became valuable and considered as a true form of art in this time and age. Makeup, a subject that remains in the background compared to the topics of a film such as costumes, actors and plots, is analyzed throughout a fifty-year perspective. The development of makeup can be seen not just in the makeup industry but in the Republic of Turkey and in the world since it is one of the most effective ways individuals can express themselves. It adapted to international trends and phenomenons and had different progression patterns through nations. Makeup in Turkish history has been influenced by the world, but it also contains elements from the Turkish culture and traditions. The changes and evolution of makeup in Turkish film history is studied from the beginning of 1960’s to 2000’s and modern times. In this time frame, the alteration of face, eye and lip makeup, detachable limbs which are used to impress the audience, differences in hair and prosthetic makeup are at the forefront.
