During the Ottoman Empire’s dominance in the Balkans, many Turkish families settled in the Balkan countries, especially Bulgaria. However, after the Ottoman Empire, the Turks who lived here began to face various difficulties. Due to the sanctions imposed by the Bulgarian government on Turks and the policies they implemented, Turks began to migrate to Anatolia from the late-19th century. The Esen family also took part in the migration that took place in 1950-1951, which was one of the first mass migrations. Emine Tütüncüler, who was born in Koşukavak town of Bulgaria, migrated to Edirne with her family. In this article, the migration adventure of Turks to Anatolia in 1950-51 has been tried to be explained in detail, as a result of the stories of Emine Tütüncüler, one of the actors of the migration, and Mehmet Esen, the son of Ayşe Esen, who stayed in Bulgaria during the 1950 migration and later emigrated.20 pagesTurkishCreative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlikeBulgaristanTürkGöçİskânAnadoluEsen ailesiBulgariaTurkeyImmigrationSettlement policyAnatoliaEsen FamilyEsen ailesinin göç serüveni: 1950-1951 Bulgaristan-Türkiye göçü üzerine bir incelemeStudent ProjectSPB4784
