It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 12).Bu araştırmada, Laço Tayfa Caz grubunun kurulduğu dönem ve bağlam, grubun kurulma aşamaları, grubun kurucusu olan Hüsnü şenlendirici'nin hayatı ve gruba katkıları, grubun Türkiye'de popülerleşme süreci, yabancı caz-funk grubu Brooklyn Funk Essentials ile yaptığı çalışmaların bu sürece etkisi araştırıldı. Caz müziğin genel anlamda özellikleri ve Türkiye'ye gelişi, etnik caz müzik türü ve Laço Tayfa'nın bu türe katkıları ile Türkiye'de Caz'ın geldiği son durum da ayrıca incelendi. Araştırmada, yazılı ve sözlü kaynaklar, özellikle röportaj ağırlıklı kaynaklardan yararlanıldı.On this research, the subtitles to be investigated are: the period and context in which Laço Tayfa music band was founded and how it was founded, the life and contributions of Hüsnü ġenlendirici who is the founder of the band, the popularization process of the band on the Turkey and the effects of the mutual works that they have done with the foreign jazz-funk band Brooklyn Funk Essentials on this popularization process. On a general perspective, the qualifications of jazz music, its spreading over the Turkey, ethnic jazz music type, contributions of Laço Tayfa on this type, and the last condition of the jazz music on the Turkey will also be investigated.
