Şişecam şirketinin ilk tesisi olan fabrika Beykoz’un konumuna ve semtte var olan cam kültürüne istinaden Paşabahçe’de kurulmuştur. “Paşabahçe” markasıyla dünyaya adını duyuran tesis, 2002’ye kadar Türkiye’nin cam ihtiyacını başarıyla karşılamıştır. Paşabahçe Cam Fabrikası Beykoz semtinde tekrar fitillediği cam bilinci, yarattığı sosyoekonomik değişimler ve oluşturduğu işçi sınıfı bilinciyle semt ve semt halkı için bir dönüm noktası olmuştur.Paşabahçe Cam Fabrikası is a factory that was founded in Istanbul, Beykoz province, Paşabahçe district. The factory, which was the first facility of Şişe Cam company, was founded in Beykoz, corresponding to the location and already existing glasswork culture of the province. The facility that spread its renown with the brand “Paşabahçe,” successfully provided Turkey with needed glassworks.
