He was a deeply influential experimental and social psy chologist and his area of interest was inter- group conflict and discrimination. He illustrated this by his, study, The Robbers Cave experiment, which was considered unethical yet still left an im mense mark in the field of psychology. Our paper will evaluate the life of this psychologist in lıght of his experience in Turkey and the US, while studying his legacy in the scope of psychology.Araştırmamız, hayatının büyük bölümünü yurtdışında çalışarak geçirmiş, Türk asıllı sosyal psikolog Muzzaffer Şeref'in hayatı üzerinedir.
