Throughout its history, the association served as one of the paramount sources of influence on Turkish forestry. Historically, around the 1950s, the association played a crucial role in the planting of the Atatürk Forest, known today as the METU Forest, the implementation of several laws related to the management of forests and the extent to which interventionist policies may be undertaken by the private sector in the context of forestry.33 pagesTurkishCreative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlikeOrmanOrmancılıkDernekDoğaCemiyetYasal düzenlemeKanunAğaçiş birliğiMülkiyetTahripForestForestryinstitutionNatureAssociationLegal regulationLawTreecollaborationPropertyRuinÜNSAL HIST 200-14/4 2019-20Türkiye Ormancılar DerneğiStudent ProjectSPB3314
