Four methods of construction are given starting with a right coprime fractional representation of the plant over the ring of stable transfer functions. One of these methods is a new construction procedure that exploits the Smith-McMillan canonical form. Connections between some of the characterization methods are explicitly shown.viii, 66 leavesEnglishinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessControl system synthesislinear systemsmultivariable control systemsdecentralized stabilizationinternal stabilityQA402 .K63 1993Linear systemsControl theory--Adresses, essays, lectures.A unification and comparison of the methods of construction for decentralized stabilizing controllersThesis
