A theoretical survey on seeing and representation of traditional arts and miniature was made. The result of the survey is that traditional arts and miniature require a different seeing than today’s seeing regime. In the artistic and practical side of the study the problem is made clearer thanks to the works produced during the process and other contemporary artists’ works who are working in similar ways.xii, 83 leaves, illustrationsEnglishinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessMiniatureRepresentationPerspectiveSeeingND3211 .S46 2007Miniature painting, Turkish.Miniature painters--Turkey.Miniature painting, Islamic--Turkey.Mural painting and decoration--Turkey.Idols and images--Turkey.Illumination of books and manuscripts--Turkey.A singular art : a theoretical and artistic survey on miniature and hybrid possibilities of traditional arts in contemporary artThesis
