It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 24).Bursa, İnegöl'de bir Gürcü köyü olan Hayriye köyünün toplumsal tarihinin incelendiği bu çalışmada, mevzubahis köyün kuruluşu, kültürü, toplumsal yapısı, siyasi ve sosyal olaylardan etkilenerek bugünlere gelişi incelenmektedir. Çalışmada Cumhuriyet öncesi dönemde köyün tarihine ve coğrafyasına kısaca yer verilmiş, köy halkının kökeni, kültürü ve değerleri anlatılmıştır. Köydeki eğitim, sağlık, ulaşım gibi hizmetlerin gelişiminden, köy kalkınma kooperatifinden, bahsedilmiş; bu çalışmalara öncülük eden Ahmet Özkan ve Faik Ertan'ın hayatlarına değinilmiştir. Köyün bugünlere gelmesinde önemli bir yeri olan yurt dışına işçi göçlerinin Hayriye köyüne olan etkisi üzerinde durulmuş; göçlerin, siyasi olayların köye, köy halkına ve köy ekonomisine etkileri incelenmiştir.In this study, which examines the social history of Hayriye village, a Georgian village in Bursa, İnegöl, the foundation of the village in question, its culture, social structure, being influenced by political and social events, are examined. In the study, the history and geography of the village in the pre-Republican period are briefly included, and the origin, culture, and values of the village people are explained. The development of services such as education, health, and transportation in the village and the village development cooperative were mentioned; The lives of Ahmet Özkan and Faik Ertan, who pioneered these studies, are mentioned.
