It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 19-20).Bu araştırmada Türk sinemasında muhafazakârlık, sağ düşünce ve İslami temaların evrimini anlama süreci amaçlanmaktadır. Türk sinemasındaki muhafazakâr düşünce ve İslami temaların yer buluş süreci, 1960'lı yıllardan itibaren sinemanın toplumsal etkilerini, muhafazakâr düşüncenin yükselişini ve sinema ile bu düşünce arasındaki etkileşimi ele almaktadır. Ali Osman Emirosmanoğlu ve Yücel Çakmaklı'nın biyografileri, sinemaya katkıları ve İslami temaları işleyişi ile önemli eserlerinin detaylı analizi ve toplumsal sanatsal etkileri de değerlendirilmektedir.This research focuses on understanding the evolution of conservatism, right-wing thinking, and Islamic themes in Turkish cinema. The process of the convergence of conservative thought and Islamic themes in Turkish cinema, starting from the 1960s, explores the societal impacts of cinema, the rise of conservative thought, and the interaction between cinema and this ideology. The biographies of Ali Osman Emirosmanoğlu and Yücel Çakmaklı, their contributions to cinema, and the portrayal of Islamic themes in their works are examined in a separate section.
