By adjusting the dimensions of the ring, these resonance frequencies can be changed to the preferred values and desired band characteristics can be obtained. Transducer is designed using circuit theory techniques on the electrical equivalent circuit of free-flooded ring. The ring transducer is modeled in ANSYS, a Finite Element Modeling tool. The results obtained by analyzing the electrical equivalent circuit and the ANSYS outputs are compared. Electrical equivalent circuit parameters are updated considering the result obtained in finite element analysis. Effects of mounting end tubes are investigated by finite element analysis. New components related to the end tubes are inserted to the electrical equivalent circuit.x, 61 leaves, tables and graphsEnglishinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessFree-flooded31-mode ring transducerANSYSfinite element analysisTA345.5.A57 Y55 2008ANSYS (Computer system)Finite element method--Data Processing.Design of 31-mode free-flooded ring transducersThesis
