In this work, the place of television in Turkish society, impact on Turkish audience and the technological developments in different political periods are also analyzed. From the first day of broadcasting on these issues have been inspected through official reports, records and documents and data with official source were obtained. The juridicial substructure of television in Turkey was studied on the three different periods of military intervention. Also the writings and memoirs of who witnessesed these three periods and the socio-cultural echoes of this medium and regulations were tried to be figured in different chapters.
