It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Bu yazıda Giritlioğlu ve Küçükincinyan ailelerinin neden kalmayı seçtiklerine, olaylar sırasında ve sonrasında neler yaşadıklarına değinilecektir.The events of 6-7 September 1955 were a process in which non-Muslim populations in Türkiye were significantly impacted economically and morally. These incidents are one of the causes influencing mi gration of the non-Muslim population from Türkiye. There are also families that stayed in Türkiye fol lowing the events rather than emigrate. Examples of this are the Giritlioğlu and Küçükincinyan families.
